We enjoyed this DVD. It is interesting info on Lionel trains and their history.

This Video is an anniversary of the first 100 years of America's Favorite Model Train. Lionel! Tom Snyder hosts this special and this video shows the history of Lionel, some of the Classic Lionel Trains before World War II. This is actually containing two videos and in the second video, it shows the guy who brought back Lionel Trains, Richard Kughn. President of Lionel and it's Marketing. Also it shows some of Lionels biggest accessories too such as, the most favorite Milk Car, Water Tank, Cattle Car w/ loader to load cows. And also shows some old ads and what caught on the interest for Lionel trains. I got an old tin poster that my helping teacher gave me in 3rd Grade. It is the one from 1955 with a boy with his hands up and 6 trains below a bridge. I'm not much of a Lionel lover because I model with HO Scale trains and accessories. I used to be interested in Lionel though when I got my first Lionel set in December, 2001 as a birthday present. Then later on, I bought a Pipe Car which is a flatcar and I asked my cousin for a Milk Car on Christmas, it was the same thing only it was a Cola Car. But it did exactly what the Milk Car did, throwing cans out onto the platform. But later on in July, 2002, I started to go onto HO but I still like Lionel though and this video is for any Lionel lover out there. And it will bring back your childhood memories as well. Especially if you were a Lionel fan then.

The item is way over priced. I paid $32 for four small figures and it feels like I paid $30 too much. The figures also don't attach to the train like the ones that come with it. The hole in the figures are just a little too big and end up falling off.

These figures add a lot of character to the Polar Express train set. My grandsons love them.

If only we had ordered this book before Christmas! My husband decided the grandchildren were old enough to enjoy the old Lionel trains with Grandpa as the cheif engineer. So Christmas Eve, he can't get switches to work or the milk bottles to unload from the milk car. This part was not so enjoyable. This book explores the electrical circuits and mechanics and provides information needed to get the layout up and running. The book is Grandpa's new best friend.

My husband is very pleased with this book. The diagrams are awesome and it is extremely helpful in getting parts for the trains and repairing them.

I have some old Lionel trains I wanted to repair and didn't know how to find the right parts to order. Greenberg's Repair manual is just what I needed. Anyone who wants to repair a vintage Lionel train should have it.

Dear Sirs Excuse me, but I do not speak or write English well. When I bought from Amazon the Lionel repair manual I wanted to get a guide to help me make services for my Lionel's customers and for my own Lionel. I'm working by mysef reparing different modell trains from USA, Europe and Asia in all gauges available in the world's market. This book is great for people (like me) looking to repair and run that old box of trains collecting dust in the attic or basement. You do need to know how electricity works and be handy with basic tools. I agree with the others, the print is SMALL. I can read it OK, but I can see where someone with marginal vision might need a magnifier.

This is a nice and very useful guide to Lionel postwar addicted. Nice illustrations and very comprehensive texts. A must for the Lionel fans.

This book is handy for fixing and maintaining Lionel accessories. It has pictures showing the most popular accessories. My favorite is the Milk Car!

I was looking forward to this book with great expectations, and in general I wasn't disapointed. Some acessories were given deeper treatment than others, but the explanations given were clear and concise. I hope that there will be a volume 2 that will cover even more PW and modern acessories. This is a great book if your looking for information on old Lionel accessories. It has very good photos and illustrations of each of the accessories and instructions on repair and maintenance of common problems. The author has done an excellent job with these accessories. If your looking for the more modern Lionel products this is not the book.

This is a great book if you are interested in Lionel train operating accessories. It describes most of the popular accessories and how to repair and service them. Great color pictures and even a price guide for each accessory. I have read this book from cover to cover and still refer to it quite often. The only thing missing is advice on whether or not to upgrade an accessory to TMCC control for better performance.
